Lots of insight into the process and history of negotiation. Gary Noesner This book is as interesting as it is easy to read. It provides terrific insight into hostage takings and other critical incidents that police respond to, and gives some great history on some of the well known sieges. It's just a terrific book and I highly recommend Gary Noesner A little bit slow but still very interesting. Gary Noesner Great read. Noesner has an excellent book with concepts that are as applicable now as they were then. Anyone who deals with critical incidents no matter your position within your agency should read this book. I learned a ton and you will too. The behind the scenes descriptions about some pretty important incidents is also very interesting. I highly recommend this book.
