The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's Minions begins at the dawn of time. Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters-from T. rex to Napoleon-the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression.
But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he-alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob-ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.
The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock), the world's first-ever female super-villain. They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind...from annihilation.
Featuring a soundtrack of hit music from the '60s that still permeates our culture today, Minions is produced by Illumination's Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda. Brian Lynch has written the screenplay for the 3D-CG comedy adventure, and Chris Renaud serves as executive producer of the film.

A perfect book for my 7 year old. He loves the Minions! There's humor, guns, and action... so what else could a guy need?
A lot of the book pretty much glorified evil (so I had to stop once and a while and put that in perspective), but by the end of the book evil got what was coming to it. And cuteness won the day. Kindle Edition A must read for any Minions fan! A set of three books covering the movies Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, and Minions. Kindle Edition Cute movie adaptation. I thought it was just okay but it's target audience (my 9 year old) loved it! Kindle Edition I am so very excited for this movie to come out. Just a quick fun read to share with the minion fans in your life. Kindle Edition This is a fabulous book for children who enjoyed the Despicable me movies. This is my son's first chapter book. It was pretty cut and dry and lacked a bit of depth but to get kids into reading I think movie to book editions are a great idea. Kindle Edition
Well it's the Minions, you have to be a bad or deranged person not to love them and even if that's the case you'll take them in as your tiny helpers.
Of course i adore them, and this book that actually introduces to us their initial story is great, but i have to admit something. Although i really liked it, during the reading process i felt awkward a lot and i'm not actually sure why.
It was funny, cute, with a nice and intriguing plot, but something was missing. What that may be? A lead character. The minions are adorable but they work better as awesome sidekicks rather than center-point protagonists.
Of course they had Scarlett Overkill, but she was so unlikeable and one-dimensional as a character, resulting to a monotonous storyline.
I would prefer it if she was more Gru-ish and if she had a hard time surviving her helpers rather than antagonising them.
As always i read this one with my ten year old brother, and he enjoyed it immensely even though he got a little bored at the tedious parts, so i bet it's the right choice for the younger crowd.
Kindle Edition To są Minionki, potrzeba tu do tłumaczenia coś więcej? 🍌 Kindle Edition meron ako nito mainggit kayo Kindle Edition Both of our kiddos read this book and they wanted me to read it. So I did. Now we will know what happens as we watch the movie. ha! Oh, boy, Minions.
