Really detailed and extensively knowledgeable book. Does what it says on the front of the book, can't really go wrong with this to be honest. (Please note there are no illustrations in this book). Maps I have several books on Greek mythology and this book is one of the most informative and is very well presented , although some pictures, photos and diagrams would be better. The main qualm I have with this book is its numerous punctuations. Sentences and descriptions are continuously punctuated ,where as starting a fresh sentence would make it accessible, flowing and readable. Overall this was a good purchase but sometimes is frustrating to understand and re reading paragraphs ruins the flow of the descriptive prose. Maps My husband had always had an interest in mythology hence purchasing this. He finds there is detail than he perhaps wanted, but overall is pleased with it. Maps It's a nice book with a lot of info in it however I find the title a bit misleading, Classical Mythology A to Z, except that it is not a complete book, it only includes Roman and Greek myth from what I can see, what about all the other myths out there? If it's going to be an A to Z book then it should cover as much as possible. I'll stick with the other book I got instead. Maps Book is as described. Taking a star off as sleeve as a bit dirty when it came and the dirt won't come off. No point in returning as the replacement voyld be the same. Maps
