Profound, moving, and as Charlotte would say radiant, this book will stay with anyone lucky enough to find it. With the help of his new friends that he meets at the Rainbow Spectrum club, Rick embarks on a journey to find out who he truly is.An inspiring story about finding your place in the world. Very fast delivery! Bought this book for my kid’s school , in fact she doesn’t like very much the story. Rick: A Melissa Novel An excellent book about staying true to yourself even when it is hard to stand up to your friends. Rick: A Melissa Novel Amazing and fun book for all ages it’s about middle school aged children questioning their sexuality and gender. Rick: A Melissa Novel This book, appropiate for teens and older persons, treats a growing awareness of the wide spectrum of human sexuality and expression with compassion and scientifc accuracy. It is a good book to share with persons questioning their own sexuality or trying to understand that of others. It provides the language for meaningful conversations. This is a book that has been banned from some schools and libraries for political reasons because it deals with sexuality in other than binary terms. I highly recommend this book. Rick: A Melissa Novel I'm so happy that there are books like this out here for young and old[er] I'm also really happy that the author writes about transgender and ace individuals bc they tend to be spoken about even less than gay/lesbian individuals. Great and interesting read! I would suggest reading Alex Gino's book Melissa first as the events in the story connect to this story, although it's not necessary to read Melissa in order to enjoy this book! Such a great author, such a great topic/subject matter. Love love love! Definitely recommend for kids and adults. Rick: A Melissa Novel
